The second type this view, outside the path of totality, the moon passes in front of the sun off-center, never fully covering its surface.

3. Annular Eclipse

An Annular eclipse occurs when the moon passes directly in front of the sun. However, unlike a total eclipse, the moon appears too small to fully cover the sun. Then the moon’s orbit is elliptical, so sometimes it’s closer to Earth and sometimes it’s farther away.

4. Hybrid Eclipse

The hybrid eclipse is when the moon’s position between the Earth and the sun is so finely balanced that the curvature of the Earth plays a role. The moon will be farther away from some parts of Earth along the eclipse’s path, resulting in an annular eclipse. The other parts, the moon will be just close enough to fully cover the sun, resulting in a total eclipse.

The only one question we have now is whether the eclipse can be seen only on Earth in the whole universe?

Earth is the planet with the most solar eclipses in the entire universe. But there are many more planets in the universe where solar eclipses can be seen. Among them, the solar eclipse on Mars is small and fast because Mars has two moons.

Then Jupiter has a total of 69 moons, but there are five moons that can make eclipses. Saturn has 62 large moons which can cause a total solar eclipse, but it is not that there will be a full solar eclipse because there are large moons.Here solar eclipses occur once every 15 years in Saturn. Uranus has 26 moons, but most of them are very small. It is so far away that there is no possibility of a total solar eclipse.
